Have not posted in 8 months..I am pulling out the pics to share.
From the terrace.
Across the lake. You could not see the mountains all winter long due to the clouds but they have returned and are as beautiful as ever.
View from the main living space.
From the terrace looking towards city of Zurich...I took this picture last Sept and that crane is still there today.

Horse Meat Update
Over the weekend we had Liam, Kerry and Dermot visiting. We took the plunge and actually tried horse meat.
It honestly was WAAAAYYYY better than I thought it would taste. I could definitely have again.
The only brave souls to try it were Liam, Tyler, Ben, Dermot and myself.
The ladies were too squeamish.

Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday to Tyler (15) and Alex (17). We celebrated their birthdays back to to back at the beginning of March.
This was Tyler's cake.

Skiing in Stoos
We spent February vacation skiing in a small town called Stoos. Stoos is a self contained town at the top of the Alps. You can only get to the town via cable car and it allows only pedestrian traffic or horse drawn carriages.

Parent of the Year (NOT)
Catching up....
Hello Again!
As many of you know, we have moved to Zurich from Amsterdam. My old company was bought by Covidien and we decided to continue our European adventure for 2 more years in Zurich.
Zurich is a beautiful country but the cost of living is extremely high. More on that later.
The kids have settled into an International school: ICS (http://www.icsz.ch/)
We have moved into a small apartment with a tremendous view of the Alps. This is the view from our deck of Lake Zurich.
And to the left is the Alps.
Great way to end a stressful day at work but sitting on the deck with a glass of wine and staring at the Alps.
